They're geese. It's a kind of bird, yeknow. They fly. And they're known for hissing and running after people if they get angry. I think you get the point.
Shot during the same session as my previous photo, "Monotony", still using my EOS 450D and the EF-S 55-250mm IS.
The RAW file was processed in Raw Therapee, and post-processed in Gimp. failAttempt(tm) at framing resulted in the top part looking like it's cutn'pasted in place.
Framed the photo by duplicating the layer, erasing what's not the frame, and putting the layer to 'Multiply', I think. Was meaning to give two darker stripes, at bottom and top, but the bottom barely shows (mostly as a contrast increase), and the top was of course placed in a way it looks like there's something wrong with the photo.

The focus on this one is really good m8! I always misses the focus when I am trying to capture some sort of animal, nice to see that it's working for you!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

My inner child has issues...
Truth be told
There is no truth.
We've lost the moral to the story-
The seduction of the Light hath come
To reap the pleasures of the Dark.
